Cassia Berlin was born in Michigan and lived in Traverse City until moving to Ann Arbor for college, and then moving all the way down to Austin, Texas, after graduating. She is an only child to two parents she does not regularly call.

In actuality, Cascia fell from the sky about three months ago and hit the pavement of a parking lot of a Denny's around 3 am that morning. She has slowly been discovering how to be a person through very astute learning and watching the people around her. In her first few weeks, she began to gather allies, her “friends” as she calls them, the Outcasts. They're not a cult, not really. Just a group of close friends who she can help, and who help her in return.

Around two months in, she began to meet Others of Austin, including Mages, Changelings, Kindred, and other Demons. She has since Sworn loyalty to WEIRD and loyalty to her girlfriends, Maestitius and Erinys, and to her friends. Her only goals in her short time on this Earth is to help people, to fight the Machine, and to show the Truth of the world to the people, saving them from the Machine's Lies.

Cascia Berlin, her most common cover, is a young woman of about 23 years with raven black hair and big brown eyes. She is above average height, often wears cool alt or artsy clothing, is covered in a patchwork of linework tattoos of all kinds, and has piercings all over her face, including her brow, bridge of her nose, up both ears, her bottom lip, septum, and sides of her nose.

Her true Demoninc form is a creature made of rotting golden bones and wires. The surface of the bones is etched with runes and letters of languages long forgotten. Blackened tendrils of musculature and wires connect the pieces, and the joints move more like hydraulics than human joints. A pair of golden, leathery wings stretches from its back, held together by wires and more inky blackness. Black vicious liquid spills from the creature's joints, its eyes, and its mouth, something between blood and oil. Its eyes are a coppery mesh with no visible pupil or iris.
