Prerequisites: Mind 2, Politics 2, and one of the following additional Skills at 2 dots or higher: Occult, Empathy, Expression, Persuasion, or Socialize.

Initiation: The prospective Lover must join a hivemind of other Lovers, emotional Goetia, and astral reflections of non-assimilated partners.

Lovers organize themselves into Choruses, or Polycule—expansive networks of relationships and the mental constructs that represent them. Because of how reliant upon these relationships Lovers are, they must be very careful about who they accept into a Chorus.

Often, a potential Lover will be represented within the polycule by an astral reflection of themself (a simulacrum made of that person's memories) until the chorus is certain the new addition will not throw off its harmony. When new additions are improperly vetted, or connections change for the worse, what usually happens is a schism. This is where almost all choruses originate—fractal fractions branching off the original chorus, to which all claim to be the 'true' inheritors.

Ruling Arcanum: Mind Yantras:

• Casting the spell upon a Lover (+2)
• Reciting poetry, music, or other art with a romantic message (+1)
• A shrine built to honor a loved one (+2)
• An act of romantic affection (+1/+2 if it creates an adverse condition)

Oblations:

• Going on a date
• Creating art in the name of love
• Displaying dependent and reliant behavior
• Spending a night in shared passion

Prerequisites: Initiation

The Lover has unlimited room in her mind for the things that matter—tender moments, birthdays, favorite colors… Nothing escapes her memory if it is important to her relationships. The Attainment emulates *Perfect Recall* (p. 160), ensuring the mage always has a perfect recollection of anything related to her partners.

Optional: *Fate 1* While the Lover has Mage Sight active, she can see the network of her relationships physically. This acts as the *Interconnections* (p. X) spell, revealing only sympathetic connections formed from love, oaths made for relationships, and whether her partners are possessed, mind-controlled, or subject to an altered destiny.

Prerequisites: Mind 2, Politics 3

The Lover may begin to build their Chorus in earnest. Every Polycule has different rituals for how to welcome a new member into the Chorus—some require a group kiss, while others may perform a complicated rite of passage involving spellcraft and theatrics. A new member of the Chorus does not necessarily need to bear this Legacy, but it certainly helps.

The Attainment emulates *Telepathy* (p. 161), allowing a Lover to send and receive thoughts from any member of her Chorus. However, inviting a person into the Chorus is a serious commitment. The harmony between individuals required to maintain such constant connection is rare. If the Impression of any Chorus member towards another falls below perfect, the Chorus becomes Tumultuous, imposing a -1 penalty to empathy and communication checks for each step below perfect that any member's Impression drops.

If a chorus member is removed, this penalty persists until the end of the chapter and increases by 1.

Optional: *Fate 2* A Lover is never far from her Chorus. When she needs to find one of her partners, Fate accommodates. This functions as the *Shifting the Odds* (p. 136) spell but only applies to the Lover's romantic partners. If the Chorus is Tumultuous, the Polycule may take matters into its own hands—forcing feuding partners together as often as possible until they resolve their differences or schism.

Prerequisites: Mind 3, Politics 3, and an additional Skill requirement increase (3 dots in the initial Skill or 2 dots in a second Skill from the list).

At some beautiful point, a Chorus takes on a life of its own. The in-jokes, traditions, and precious memories that define it begin to form a shared Astral Palace where members can telepathically co-habit, even as they go about their separate lives. This manifests as *Goetic Summons* (p. 162), allowing the Lover to summon Goetia formed from relationships, memories, and shared concepts.

If the Chorus is Tumultuous, this can be dangerous—Goetia summoned this way cause the Lover to gain the Deprived condition for as long as the summon persists.

Optional: *Fate 3* When a new member enters the Chorus, they make an informal oath to act in pursuit of shared prosperity and affection. If the Chorus is strong enough, this oath becomes a Sworn Oath (p. 1367), applying specifically to actions taken to directly affect a romantic partner. If the Chorus is Tumultuous, these oaths become increasingly strict.

Prerequisites: Mind 4, Politics 4, and the additional Skill requirements of the previous Attainment.

To the Lover, her Chorus is always just a thought away. She may freely visit the dreams of her partners and project her consciousness as per *Psychic Projection* (p. 164) to any Chorus member's physical location. She may also take Chorus members with her, but only if the Chorus is not Tumultuous.

Optional: *Fate 4* *In sickness and in health.* A Lover heeds the call of her Chorus members. This functions as *Atonement* (p. 138), allowing the Lover to embark upon a trial to cure her partners' woes. This often manifests as inspiration for exactly what they need—even before they realize something is wrong. If the Chorus is Tumultuous, these trials become twice as difficult, complex, or awkward as they normally would be.

Prerequisites: Mind 5, Politics 4, and further increases in additional Skill requirements (4 dots in the chosen Skill, or 3 dots in a second Skill, or 2 dots in a third).

Eventually, the Chorus grows so large that even a Lover cannot perfectly track its tendrils. A hive-mind of like-minded individuals can achieve miraculous collaboration. This functions as *Social Networking* (p. 165), allowing the Lover to call upon Merit dots from her Chorus (or even their unassimilated partners). If the Chorus is Tumultuous, this Attainment cannot be used.

Optional: *Fate 5* Love defies the impossible. Every member of the Chorus gains an innate understanding of each other's Aspirations, health, and conditions at all times. This ensures that when a member needs help, the others know—and can act accordingly.

Once per day, each member of the Chorus may gain the rote quality on one action taken with the intent of fulfilling another Chorus member's Aspiration.
