A coalition of [[Others]] first organized by the [[Fall Court | Ashen Court]], WEIRD was established in order to create a beacon of strangeness amidst the oppressive traditionalism of the Southern United States. The good news is, it worked! [[Austin]] is a shining jewel in the Bible Belt, home to anything that doesn't fit the norm in a city where even the [[Sleepers]] are sometimes stranger. The bad news? It worked a little too well. Various [[Liars | organizations]] dedicated to maintaining the status quo and stamping out the individual have found a common enemy in Austin, Texas.
